Actually hard to say they were ever out of it. Futaba have been building spread spectrum radio systems for 15 years. The fact they took a few weeks longer to get a product on the market that has all 14 channels available, no jumper cable and the antenna built into the module says they had this coming for a very long time. They didnt build this stuff last weekend. It had to be a few good years in development.

You dont need to send your 14 or 12 back for any upgrades, they are compatible right out of the box.

That 12 looks super dang cool.

I would like to see an option to hook into 14mz existing antenna, for those that use a tray the rear antenna could be a problem.

Hi Crew, hope you are enjoying the coverage and news about Futaba's announcement. Only one request, being that this is excellent news for all of hobbiests, let's respect the innovation from all manufacturers who are bringing us this technology, and forgo any negativity towards competitors products. I think you know where I'm going with this

Thanks Crew, and especially the good folks at Hobbico for giving us the opportunity to bring this release to The FlyingGiants Community!

Best -- Max

So does anybody know yet if the latency will be much less with a 12FG than a 12Z with a plug in module? Just curious........
