Default Ultracote over ultracote, How?

Im covering an airplane and need some help. I am trying to apply stripes of different widths over ultracote. The color is sky blue and I havent found any stripe tape that matches. I tried trim solvent, but is very difficult and still bubbles. windex didnt work either. Any tricks you guys may know would sure be appreciated. Thank you.

You might try cutting the ultracote out under your stripes if they're wide . Another option is to use a Woodpecker, adding and removing the wheels as necessary, to let the built up air escape . I've had the best results when I've gotten the base Ultracote really tight prior to applying the trim

Just use low heat start in the middle for large parts and work the air out.. if you are trapping air your heat is too high, the texture in the adhesive helps the air get out..
