Ok, I don't have a H9 260, but I have a gasser with bolt on stabs. The tubes are in there good and I can't "change the incidence," but they are a little wobbly. Would gluing them to the side of the fuse make that go away?

Yes, I did it to my AM Yak... don't regret it for a second. They are very secure now, no play whatsoever.

That little bit of play definitely affects flight performance. My fist one had a just a little bit and this has none. Big difference. My plane will now do walls without snapping to the right. Same plane exact same setup with the exception of the glued stabs.

Funny enough I was putting together a H9 showtime last night for a friend and same thing, so I glued those "biatches on dere."
Something else I found strange on the showtime was they do not supply or tell you to put acorn nuts on the the rocket city style horn bolts. Seems like a bad idea so I am going to get some and put them on.

REPLACE THAT SCREW WITH A LONGER ONE!!!!!!!! I replaced with a 1/8th longer 2/56 taper bolt and a lock nut. The stock one only penetrates 2 threads. Again same thing with the showtime and more than one person has lost the plane this way.
Take the stock cf gear and toss it. I replaced mine the first time with the aluminum but this time I bought some CF gear from Graphtech. My stock cf gear cracked on takeoff!!!!
The first one met the runway due to a rolling downdraft on landing approach

ok, for some stupid reason I donīt know...I couldnīt find larger screws for the links of my Extra 260, soo what I did was put a reasonable amount of lock thread on those screws and make sure they were tight and that is working, I also did that on my showtime and also glued the stabs on my showtime, havenīt glued the stabs of the extra because Im moving on august and I have to take those off...anyway, those screws are holding on in there with lock thread but I am still loking for longer screws...

I found them at home depot and a few other hardware stores in those small plastic packages you can get small bolts / nuts etc. I believe they were 5/8 long 2-56 taper head bolts with a Phillips head on them exactly the same as the originals only longer.
