RV'ING AT NALL????????

Hey we are talking about renting an RV and probably are going to get it. But we had a question for those who do the RV thing every year. Is there a separate truck that brings around water for the shower and sink water that you use in the rv? Do generators use a lot of gas overnight for the airconditioning units on the RV's??? Any help or sightful things for RV'ing would be great.

The only service you can get for the RVS is having the tanks pump out. You would need to fill the water tanks completely before arriving. As for the generators: In most RVs the generators run off the fuel that is also the supply for the RV. So filling up with fuel before you arrive would be best. I know that alot of people that do have RVS still use the bath house to take showers to save on water.

Depends on the size of the generator.

You can fill the fresh water tanks before you get there. If you are consertive the fresh water tanks can last over a week. When you shower, don't leave the water running constantly. Wet down, turn off water, suds up, rinse. Use the johns during the day.

USE THE SHOWER HOUSE AT NALL ITS CLEAN AND HOT CONSERVE THE R/V WATER FOR IMPORTANT STUFF LIKE FLUSHING AND MIXED DRINKS THAT ALWAYS TAKES PRIORITY !!!

If we have already sent in our money for the registration can we just send in the extra in the mail for $10 fee?

If you have already sent in registration it would be better to just pay at the field. We will be coming around camp sites and giving out RV passes and collecting money if you arrive before Wednesday.

The facilitys are such that you should only need to sleep in your RV... Excellent showers, and bathrooms.

With renting this RV looks like we'll be there earlier in the day since I'll have to be off that day to pick up the RV. Rough life huh. Hopefully we can get a good spot down by the lake on Monday afternoon.

we camp every year there and we have a big pull behind camper and two tents that we use while we are there. and we fill up the main tank and the hot water tank before we get there and we also have 4 gray 5gal water jugs that we keep in the truck that we add to the tank if we need to, u can buy them at walmart/exc. and we use the bath house for main bathroom useage and showers, we never use all of the water up that we bring. and the last few years we didnt even use any air at night.

personally I think it is the most inconsiderate thing an RV "camper" can do....


but thats just me....
