SHULMAN FLIES 300 MPH GLOW AT E-TOC??

Let's just say a little birdy (Andrew Jesky) told me somebody (Jason Shulman) is breaking new ground AGAIN! Jason was the first pilot to fly electric at a F3A World Championship. Now he's planning on flying glow at the E-TOC!!!

Andrew= "Biff don't say nothin' and it didn't come from me, but Jason has taken a Q-40 Polecat and installed a new YS 190 on it. He's only tested it outside, but it's been clocked at 298 MPH. I really don't think this is a good idea. I love the guy like a brother, but this time he's gone TOO FAR!"

Biff= "Thanks buddy I'll call him and won't rat you out"

Ring ring ring ring,,,,,,,Jason, Andrew Jesky told me you are planning on flying glow at the E-TOC. Any truth to that?

Jason Sulman "Hi Biff,,,,AAaaaaaAAaahhhh, yes I am planning on flying glow. No I didn't see that part in the rule book. 20 oz maximum weight? Nope didn't see that one either. Are you saying I can't fly this????!!!!! WAYNE MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS!!!!!!!! Yes it is a touch on the quick side now, but I'm working with APC to slow her down a touch. IF WAYNE STOPS ME FROM FLYING THIS PLANE, THERE WILL BE TROUBLE!!!!

OK Bob... here's a few things I told you not to forget, but obviously it slipped your mind.

The SSR (Shulman Speed Racer) is powered with the new OS-200 FI with an APC 12x19 prototype race prop.
It's not a Polecat, the SSR is a Pitts/Nemesis morph that really looks BadAss... if I may borrow that phrase.
And Bob... MOST IMPORTANT is that it really only goes 199.99999mph the 298 was just a stress "simulation" flight.
The scheme is done up with tradition wood panelling to give it that 80's feel from my early years of competition.

As you can see, I've discussed flying this in the ETOC with Wayne, and he's given me the OK to compete with it. Only thing I've asked is that the left and right sides of the gym are clear of all people. The 3/4 roller and 1/2 square with rolls gets a bit tight and I don't want to scare anyone.

Last night when Andrew, Mark and I were practicing, we were timing the flights. Andrew and Mark were almost at 2 minutes and I thought that was great, but a bit to slow. We timed my flight and it was almost 20 seconds. I think we're close now.
