Just an addition, its a bit like changing rates for different manouvres with a switch, without having to flick the switch, I was a bit dubious on how well it would work when first told about the idea, but having flown a model set up this way, if your not of TOC level ability, this will give you an edge over the competition, particuarly in Advanced and Unlimited.

I believe you can do this on a 10X with some intricate programming.
I know guys who do this with their Futaba systems and as Not Benny says, its a great way of doing it.

You can do it to some extent on the 10x but not nearly as neatly or with as many options.
These guys have different rates set depending on if the snap is negative, positive upline, downline or straight and level. Having said that the trigger must be elevator if they are changing rates dependant on positive and negative. Like I said sounds complex, but it does work and contrary to what I initially thought dosnt affect the way the model flies the rest of the sequence.

I don't bother with that. I just fly my snaps with my thumbs. I really can't see the advantage of such a complicated setup for somethign as simple as a snap.

I used the snap button all the time. I programmed spoilerons into it. Makes great walls and slows the plane down fast after you land.
Also I hope those buttons are programmable......from what I saw, Aux 2 is where the flap switch used to be and the gear switch is where Aux 2 used to be.

Heya Crew,
I think this thread got burried in all the Toledo coverage, but this was one of the biggest announcements of the show -- Here are the official shots of the 12x in case you missed 'em. Enjoy, MD

I placed a pre order at Donald's the Minute the list was started. They have been showing 5/10 on delivery. I E mailed Donald's yesterday and they said the 5/10 date was still good.. I'm not sure if the first shipment was sold out Time will tell they have 21 days..
