Default 14MZ/R5014DPS causing delay in channels 7-12?

I have noticed something strange with my 14mz/R5014DPS set-up. When I turn on the plane and start pushing the sticks, all the servos on channels 1-6 move, but the servos on channels 7-12 do not. After about 1 to 2 seconds I have control of all servos and there seems to be no issues. I just want to verify that this is normal. Futaba has not been able to help me out. They insist that I email them my model file before they can help, which doesn't seem to have anything to do with this issue.

BTW - I am using Hitec 5955 servos on all surfaces. I am also using a PowerExpander 14mz, but I have the same problem even when the servos are connected directly to the rx.

Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks!

My Hitecs take a bit to power up, when you turn the plane on, do you start wiggle the sticks straight away, or wait till all servos have powered up?

When I notice the lag, I am pushing the sticks immediately.

If you send them the file they can load it in a radio and try it.

Are you running any other electronics, regulators, powerbox, power expander, etc.

Them having the file would help if it were a programming problem, which it is not. I am using a power expander, duralite lithiums, duralite reg, but the issue happens even when servos are connected directly into the rx.

I had that same problem on elevator channel with hitecs 5945, all other channels worked instantly when It was power up, but those about 2 or 3 sec later. I did fly about 30 times like that, until one thay I had a lock out on the very same channels on short finnal, almost crash, I send the receiver to futaba for a check. The said it was tunned and bench check ok. I havent installed again jet.

Skymaster, were you using a 14mz rx? Did you try plugging the elevator servos into any other channel? Thanks.

Well I am not sure what is up with the receiver, so I purchased the new R5114DPS receiver and the problem went away. I'll send the 5014 rx to Futaba for inspection.
