Just wandering which would be better overall, one has a larger wingspan which should float more? Thanks.

Are you actually going to buy one or do you just want to know?
Thats like trying to pick between two super models or trying to buy a new pair of shoes. |

I'd say pic which one looks best to you and you will be equally imprressed. Or, of you want something closer to scale, choose EF, if you want just plain bichen looken, choose QQ. Neither of them knock my socks off, but are still both very nice planes. If I were in the market for one, it'd probably be the QQ, only because my LHS has one in the shop right now...

Booth are great a friend is doing a build thread right now on the QQ and the EF's are sweet looking. What about the SD models Yak? The new team scheme is super cool looking They are even a couple bucks cheaper.

If it was up I would vote for the sd to. All of the sd yaks are perfect flyers from my knolige. I have the 33% and it is pretty hard to stall. Anyways I voted QQ because if you want a plane that can 3d huck like no other and still kill the competition in imac then qq is obviously the choice. Just to give you an idea watch the vid of qq turning his trans off and the yak in an inverted harrier does not budge.

The EF tops the bill. QQ's got the heritage but the EF-88" span defo makes it float like a feather. Im sure the qq would not fly as easy n slow in the harrier. im sure you'd bereal happy with either plane. Go 3D a few planks first then any well designed bird will put a big smile on yer face!! Check out my Ef maiden- http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/...den_Flight.wmv

My friend and i both recently bought the EF 88''Yak and i have to say they are fantastic planes, the build quality is second to none and they fly superbly. The EF yak is very scale looking and it recovers from a knifeedge loop at idle(serious rudder authority).I don't know what the QQ yak is like but i find it hard to believe that it could be any better than the EF yak.EF all the way in my book. They are cheaper aswell.Say no more.

One thing that one would want to consider is the new clear plexiglass-like SFG's that are on the wingtips Quique's yak. I would really like something like that for my plane.

I voted for the QQ, but that's because I'm building one now. I will Maiden this weekend, and one of my buddies is a well known expert pilot that flew the old (lighter) Extreme Flight for 2 years. I'll give him a pull on the QQ86 and report his comments. We'll do it with and without the SFG's.
