I have been waiting for this. I am looking forward to racing next year. They just need to have an all white version.

Hey all, newbie balsafire here.
I've got this one under construction. On the scheme thing, badbradgraphics is about to come out with a package to help make them a bit more diverse. It will be a basic package where you can choose your number, colors, radio and engine(several different versions of EVO) and you can customize from there. I've sent Brad the templates from my plane and he should be cutting soon. I'll try to post some pics of our first drafts. BTW for you parker racers, dibs on #26
Any word yet on the muff?

Happy flyin' all
Rod

Here's the latest from Pete Bergstrom on the muffler...this is a copy and paste from RCU and usrainfo.org

Guys,

We have been working with Bisson mufflers to manufacture a replacement for the muffler we had hoped to produce. Jim is working on the details, has them in production and should have units built very shortly. The part number is BIS05660R for the race version 35GT muffler. Horizon will have this number active on 7/7/07 for backorder.

Thanks for the patience.

The muffler I see for the sundowner-evo35gt combo is this number at horizon BIS05615.

This just appeared today and identifies it as a race muffler for sundowner.

Availability is listed as 8/17. That's cutting it close.

We saw Mike McConnville fly one with the 35GT...It was 120-125mph. A good speed for that size of model.

Mike had a stock 35GT with a 15x12 apc pattern prop. The muffler was the prototype of the one that will be available from Horizon specifically made for the EVO35 and the Sundowner.

I just saw one at my local field yesterday. It was smaller than what I was expecting, but it still looked good. The owner was flying it with a OS 160 and it did not look fast with that engine.

He may not have it propped right, that 160 should really turn a 15 x 12 or 13.
