I have 5985s on mine. They work fine, if you want to spend the extra money, cant go wrong with the 5955. Go check out troy built models, if you buy more than 2 servos, they cut you a deal on price. I think like 75 each instead of the regular 89.

I HAD the 5645's and they stink! slow, do not center well and have lots of SLOP!
I now have 5955tg all around. If you want 5645's I have 4 for sale, brand new with only 30 minutes or less total on-usuage time no crashes or anything only, one flight. I even replaced the gear sets on two of the four, at $15 each, same results. I only buy 5955tg from here out. Tony |

You want a 5985 on each elevator and aileron. You then want a 5955 (over an 8611) on the rudder because it is stronger, programable, and more reliable all around.
You will not notice much of a difference if you use a 5955 on the ailerons or elevators over 5985's but you will notice a difference on the rudder. This, is the most economical and best way to do it, period. |

I have 5645MG servos and they seem fine to me. I have had no problems but my type of flying might not be what everyone's is. I like my 5645's so far.

5645's are fine. I had them in my yak for about 10 flights. While they do not hold center very well and can be moved back and forth very easy you can do everything with them. I could hover, fly precision, do rolling harriers and basically everything else with ease with the help of these servo's but when I changed to the 5985's it was like a night and day difference. The plane had a locked in feel as if it was on rails. The ailerons are the most noticeable because they become so much more responsive and snappy. Having 5645's is fine and they will fly the plane well, they even give you built in exponential
but 5985's are way better. |

Yep, the 5645s move at a snails pace compared to the 5985. I have four 5645 servos on my 33% yak ailerons. Every thing seems well. If they were 5985 on the ailerons it would be much quicker. Also I have the 5745 on my rudder and it is fast and strond but heavy. Deffinetly get the 5955 for the rudder. You will be much happier. And if it comes to it go with 4 5985s in the rest of the plane. It will be a 120 dollar difference in price. But in the long run you will be glad you did.

I guess I will keep an eye on these servos but again so far I am happy with them for the way I fly.

I've tried 5645's 5945's 5985's 5995's.......The best bang for the buck is the 5955's for a couple of reasons;
They center well, strong as hell (Personally I think they're underrated @ 333) and the titanium components in the gear train last 3 times longer than any other Metal Geared Servo, and lastly, compare the cost of gear replacement 19 dollars for any of the others I've mentioned and only 8 dollars for the 5955. The 5945's and 5985's are a very good value, but they wear quickly (150-250 flights on average) swap out a couple of gearsets and you've bought a 5955! |

Also I heard that they might make it illegal to be on a tx with a frequency because their coming out with the other kind where you dont need a frequency. Has other people heard about this? I'm also in the market for a computer tx!
