On the 9Z, you must split the radio halves. Take your time and make sure you get all the screws. I recall there are some under the battery hatch as well.
It's been a while, but there is a socket head bolt on the bottom of the antenna. It is a bit tricky, take your time and you will figure it out. |

you dont have to split the case. Open the battery tray and take out the battery. There is a small hole that is just above the top of the battery holder. There is an allen head screw in that hole. It is somewhere around 3/32 head but it might be metric. Stick the allen wrench in there ,and unscrew the antenna. Be sure to hold the screw in by keeping a little positive pressure on the wrench. Then screw in the new antenna. If the screw falls out of its hole, youll have to split the case.

Thanks Zak! Its been a while, but I had to split my case. It's much easier if you don't drop the bolt.

I believe there is a menu for setting up the snap roll switch (ive never used it). Switches can be assigned in any of the menus such as dual rate, mixes, and so on. The switch just needs to be selected and then activated in the proper direction.

Zac
Keep flying like you do and Futaba will give you one. I am flying a 9Z. Holding off on the 2.4 stuff to let other guini-pigs work out the bugs.
