Man... That's where that Spektrum receiver went? Do you have the transmitter that went with it too? I can't find it anywhere.

News Flash on the 40% Edge crash... Steve just came on RDRC and said that Jose almost has the bird back together. Looks like Jose has been putting his building skills to work to bring his baby back to life!

I dunno...I think Steve may have been playing when he said that in that post on RDRC. If not, the power to Jose, cuz that was a lot of work! If definitely can be done though.

Yeah, I think Steve said he bought another fuse kit and used it to make templates to rebuild the olf fuse from the turtle deck forward. I've got a video of him flying it, doing about a 13 minute huck with all sorts of crazy stuff on the deck. It's in DVD format, anyone know how to convert that to mpg, or can I just upload the dvd format straight to the video site here?

Guys,

It's all true! Jose came by yesterday to get some Vess Props and I asked him what he was flying now. He said "I put the Extra back together, it turned out it wasn't that bad". He said he flew it yesterday!

FYI - He also went to see Al and Kevin and bought a new JTEC/Radiowave ARF Extra as a "backup".

My hat's off to Jose! He goes for it both in his flying and building!

Hay guys its Jose just want to pop in let you know what happened & why
First let me say I fly my planes like I hate them with that it helps keep the
Pucker factor to a minimal and I love the rush of doing 3D if I am not
Twisting and spinning all over I am not having fun so with that here’s what
Happened I was doing my usual wildness as I took off I tern over to my spotter
Jams Tailor and tell him hay my engine is not running right but caught in the
Moment and the crowed I did the unthinkable I put the plane in a bad
Position cussing it to stall then hit the wrong sw throwing in crow the engine
Did not have enough power to pull it out, I have done this many times
But always had the power to pull out, but not the case this time
So there you have it, If your not willing to lose a plane don’t fly it, we take a
Chance every time we fly.
By the way the JTEC 330L is repaired as of 5/08/07 maiden flight on
5/09/07 if weather permits what do you guys think the weight came in
The original was 42 lbs dry what do you think it is now? 43.65 lbs
