Default Constant buzzing of digital servos???

I have on my 33% extra,2 hitec 5945's on my elevators. My question is should there be non-stop buzzing squeeling coming from the servos at all times? I know digitals are noisy but are they supposed do that ALL the time or is something wrong. My digital 5735 on rudder with a pull/pull doesn't make a sound but seems to work fine.I am kinda worried about the battery life with all the noise. Thanks,Rob

All the JR and Hitecs I've ever heard had a constant (loud) buzzing. I'm pretty sure that goes for all brands of digitals. It's just the servos "hunting" for center and/or holding their current positions.

Try lifting the weight of the elevator off of the servo. I should quiet down. They are under the slighted load due to the elevator weight and they buzz. Nothing to worry about.

Constant Loud Buzzing could be a sign of the servos in a bind. I agree with RollingHarrier, try "unloading" the weight of the elevators off the servos.

Thanks guys for the info. I did unload the weight and it really helped out. I guess thats life with the digitals.
