It was a shame that when his engine died he didn't have enough elevation to get enough airspeed to get it safely down. The last time I talked to him about it he said that he has another one on order.

This is the thread I was working on.... http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...hon-build.html

The new one will be here in a couple of weeks! I was extremely happy with the way it flew. It will have a 180 wrap done by Aerographix when it is completed. I will start a new build thread when the new one arrives.

OOOOO!! sounds cool mark.......thanks for the link! Gotta see the new one after the wrap is put on as well. I'm thinking about possibly getting one of these birds next summer ( end of summer) I really like the red/white/blue flag theme one they have. It's a spendy bird , but it'll be a huge piece of eye candy at our field.

Also.....mark , i'm not sure if you we're the one that had the problems with the 3W-170 , but is this what your planning on putting in it? Just curious to see what kind of power your going to hook up in this thing.

Thanks again for the link......going to go check it out now.

I know this thread has been dead for a while but I would be really interested whether the mods (clipped wings + slight repositioning) has led to a peformance increase. Has it made it a better freestyle airplane?

Andrew,

I know there is one of the yellow Python's flying in the NE Pennsyvania area.

Call Luke @ The Hidden Hangar hobby shop and he may be able to give you some info on it.

Maybe you can hook up to see it fly.
