Bad-ass Super Contributer!

Now I have been looking for a first IMAC and Giant scale 3D plane for a long time now and Now i am stuck.
I am stuck between the Planes Plus Extra 300L 27% and the 29% Katana made by Aeroworks/world models. I don't really want anything bigger than that because I don't have a big pocket book. What do you guys think? I need some help! Thanks guys, Jamie |

Either will do anything and everything, go with the one YOU like better....that's always the better choice.
Also, if your budget isn't huge...check out the Aviation Model planes. The quality is top notch, but also come with a full hardware pack that is actually usable. I feel it's one of the best deals out there. www.toc1.com Neo Last edited by Neogenesis; 02-10-2006 at 07:59 AM. |

Both are cool planes, but if your looking at the 50cc market, both would have slightly high wing loading compared to a 30% plane.
To be honest if "budget planes" are what your looking for, check out the "KMP" planes that are on ebay. You can get them for around $365 shipped. I have 2 and both are AWESOME, The Edge is a nice plane 85" WS nice flyer, and the YAK is 87" WS and floats like a pillow (from what I'm told I'm just finishing my YAK right now) But any of the planes mentioned will be alot of fun. Good luck.

I agree. Both of those planes are heavy for their size, but the PP is better looking. If you get one of these heavier, smaller planes, at least consider the new BME55, since it is the lightest engine in its class.
