Default Heat Deformed Canopy

I took my new 36% out today and the heat (90 degrees) and my stupity (I painted the inside of the canopy black) slightly deformed my canopy.

I was thinking of spraying the expanding foam that Home Depot/Lowes carries inside the canopy (the hope is that the foam will fill the void between the hatch and canopy) to keep it from deforming further. My hope is that when the foam expands it doesn't tear the canopy off the hatch if there are holes for the foam to expand out of.

Has anyone tried this?

P.S. Although it was hot today, the plane was covered except one 12 minute flight.

.................... Get a new canopy. Keep it clear. Or at least a light tint. I have had painted items go on me inside the canopy. I keep things as light as possible from now on. It does suck. specialy on a new bird. That paint just looks so purdy in side the shop. In real life though, it just bakes in the sun.
