alitalia cap 232 rc superstore?

Anyone know where one of these planes may be found? If I remeber correctly this was the plane that was released the same time as the Chip Hyde Cap x was. There was speculation that these were the same plane from the same factory. Nonetheless, it is a great little plane. I think I saw that even Chip was offering them just before he closed shop. Doesn't look like rc superstore is any longer carrying them.

Hanger 9 use to sell the 80" one piece wing purple Alitalia Cap 232. I have one nib for sale on RCU. H9 sell a newer version with a two piece wing.

there is a European dist that still has them but I cant find the link. Theyre also gonna be re-sold under the Breteitling scheme from a South American vendor that picked up Chips line but it wont appear here until later this fall/winter.

ive got one of the original versions of this airplane(for hangar 9) with a bme 50. i can torque roll this thing, tail touch harrier . do everytying in the book. its one of my favorite airplanes.

I just got one off ebay (new in box) for $190 shipped. I have heard about how great of a plane it is, so when I came accross this one I had to have it. I believe they used to be $400 new. If it was worth 400 then it sure is worth 400 now. I actually may have the opportunity to get another one, new in box. If anyone is interested let me know and I will keep you posted.

The H9 Atalia CAP that you provided the link for (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ID=HAN2200) is a much nicer scheme

than the current version they have (http://www.hangar-9.com/Products/Def...ProdID=HAN2900) The Goldsmith scheme doesn't do it for me.

I agree with you. I hate the new scheme. I think a lot of people were hooked on the Alitalia Cap. That's why I posted to a year old thread. Figured I would see if I could keep it going. There really isn't much info on this plane on forums or anywhere else compared to other planes. Strange cause everyone loved it's flight characteristics and looks so much. The only downfall is the one piece wing which doesn't bother me cause my pickup has an 8' bed. Here's an awesome video of one. 1 of only a few on youtube. Thanks

I just found one at a local hobby shop not long ago..excited to put it together!..it'll be a nice build!..man they sure build arf's alot lighter now! WoW!...This gem will beable to handle my landings that's for sure!
