Hopeing someone may be able to help me!
I have just bought a 9C. All my recievers are on 623 (Hitech). Futaba dont seem to list a Xtal on that freq???. Are the Hitec Xtals the same cut/shift as Futaba & if so can i still feel all warm, fuzzy & safe with a Hitech Xtal in a Futaba radio?? |

Ummmm...
Here in the states...there is no channel 623???? What is the frequency?? and no..you shouldn't change a xtal in the TX (here in the States, it is illegal...) you would need to change the module instead

Over here you change the Xtals yourself. I rather wouldn't use the xtals from other company than the manufacturer's. Few days ago I wanted to fly my foamy on my friend's newest Futaba 9C Super to check it out (a brand new one). I pushed the xtal from my hitec 5X in and it didn't work (my 9C Super is on the other side of Poland), so you'll probably have to get new rec xtals.

So it would be 36.230 I think i will change all my reciever Xtals to be sure. Was going to get a Synth module but thought i would wait until 2.4 proves itself a little more and go straight to that. |

always use the same name brand crystal as the part you are putting it in.hitec for hitec and so on.they have diverent values built in them but the final results will work just fine together
