Default JR10X Replacement Battery

Whats the best tx replacement battery? Why? Where to buy?

Would prefer something better than the stock battery.

Thanks for any help.

Hi There,

I have been using Duralite 1400 Li-ion redundant battery with 0 problems. You can fly over 3-4 hours straight which normally is more than one weekend without having to charge.

Here's the website :http://www.duraliteflightsystems.com...ml#Transmitter

It was about $84 with his charger. So far, it works great.

Removing the battery cassette, opening it up, and removing the 8 cells, tossing the case(I think), and wiring in the Lipo to the circut board in the cassette.

Does anybody know where you can buy the cassette by itself? Or maybe someone has an old cassette they are looking to sell. I want to have a second battery pack. Sorry to hijack the thread.

Call radio south, they sell parts and repair JR radios.

Don't buy the Fromeco tx pack. I did last summer and it is a piece of junk. The battery goes dead in a few weeks and won't charge correctly in or out of the radio. The worst $45.00 I ever spent.

I've had my Fromeco 2700 TX pack for nearly 2 years works flawlessly and you can fly all weekend on a charge.

Did you ever send it back in to Kurt?......I doubt it.sounds like sour grapes too me.
