Default Columbo Anderson Extra 300/330

I'm interested in hearing what people have to say about the Columbo Anderson Extra 300/330 kits.

I've seen a video of Kyle Worshins flying one and it looks pretty smooth, but he's also a very good pilot. I think one of the Extra 330 planes would make a good quick build kit.

I am just about finished with the 30% 330. I have built the 24,27,31 and the 38%er's. There are few changes in the build and a few improvements as well. The 30% will accept a cannister, and the belly is now sheeted foam vs. the 1/4" stringers which ws used in the previous versions. I get some pics up soon.

Sweet! It's the 30% 330 that I'm thinking about picking up a kit for. Few questions:

1) Does it use dual aileron servos?

2) Do you mount the elevator servos in the horizontal stab?

Give me an Extra over a Yak any day! I'd like to get the Extreme Flight Yak or the 3W Yak though.

Ben, The new 30% 330 does have dual aileron servos, the elev. servos are now fuse mounted, which is another change from the older 300.

Hey Ben
The CA models kits are very good. I had the guys from CA models here in South Africa flying with us for a week they are fantastic guys both named Marcelo
Marcelo Colombo is a hell of a good pilot he puts me to shame big time he is ranked 18 in the world I think ( F3A ) The other dude is Marcelo Zini fantastic guy, he is Colombo's caller and also a very good 3D pilot. Believe me you cant go wrong with there products they really are top notch prem brands. My buddy here in Cape Town has both the 27% 330 and 33% 330 and he loves them. We fly together often and believe me these planes rock big time. Have a look on his profile and you will find video's of both planes I think the one is called 27% CA 330 and the other 33% CA 330. His username is damien you can also ask him more about these planes he will be glad to help.

I give the CA models my vote of confidence
hope this helps

Cheers Trev
