aaflyer,

Great looking 30% Extra you got there! I have myself a 27% one. It is my first gasser so I am
not that experienced to say, but I think that if this extra had lighter wing loading it could be out of this world! My extras wing loading is right about 100g /dm^2 ( 71,4dm^2 and 7100g) and I do have some bad tendencies to over snapping.

But the new 30% version with its advertised 97,8dm^2 wing area and weight of as light as 8500g that would make it very interesting project.. (maybe with the new DA-85 when it arrives?)

What is the weight of your 30% and on what engine are you running it?

Ben, Yes the stabs will accept a servo, I was running 5945's in my 31% in the stabs. Let me know if need any help.

Just a preference. You can move the point for the control horn further out so you're not on the edge of the elevator closest to the fuse.
