Default H9 Extra 330S?????

Hey guys just wanted to bounce an idea around about making the rudder on the 33% H9 Extra 330S removable. Is it feesable to make a removable rudder on one of these using klett pin hinges and using a long piece of piano wire to hinge the hole rudder? Is this a good idea? I need to make it removable so i can transport the plane in the back of my pickup. (no place to store a trailer where i live) I plan on putting a loop at the bottom of the piano wire that i can put a allen screw through and locktite into a blind nut in the airframe so i dont have to worry about it coming out in flight. What do you guys think will it work and be safe?

Hey Rob,
Go for it! It is a common way of doing a removable rudder. My 37.5% yak is done the same way and I don't have anything holding in the wire. It hasn't moved in a hunderd flights!

I've seen ailerons and elevator done that way as well. The only real problem, though, is sealing the gaps. With rudder, sealing the gap is not an issue.
