Default Comp Arf 2x2 extra-DZ160 set up pics

Hi Guys,
I'm planning on doing a comp arf 2x2 extra with one of my spare 160DZ's. I've been speaking with Bogan and he's been real helpful as usual.
Do any of you Kiwi guys have engine installation picture you can post? preferably with a hotori #821 muffler set-up. Any pics would be great. I believe Shaun (NZ) has gone this way, some pics would really help me get going with this project.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I'm using a YS160DZ. The Kwis including Frazer are flying this set-up, the word is "it's like flying a foamy"
They come in around the 5.4kg mark, way lighter than any petrol engine set-up. I just want to
utilize my spare DZ's that I use in pattern, in a plane that will be lightly wing loaded.
From all reports these are with a YS.

Flew mine with an OS140 RX on an OS Pipe. Awesome combo. Nicer to fly than a DA50 powered one.

cheers

Hi Gleno.
My 2x2 is set up with a ys 160 dz on a gigar muffler using 20%nitro awsome power.
my all up weight is 5.4 kg. I looked at putting a pipe in the fuse but you add to much weight to the plane. rudder servo is right up the front behind cowl. elevator servos are behind tank. I came out slightly nose heavy. my freind has a 2x2 and his came out tail heavy he had to add 84/0z to the nose. I think is weighting at 5.6kg
cheers

G'day Bill,
Firstly, what's a gigar muffler? who makes them? do you have a link or pic of it?
Secondly, do you have any motor installation pictures you could post on here?
From what I'm hearing, they fly really well with a DZ and kept light.
Thanks for you imput.

Gleno.
Muffler is from www.pspec.com if you go this way you need the muffler and 45 deg elbo. I am usig a hyde mount type c mk2 its a sport mount that dosent need a nose ring and is not badly priced around $60 us.
you will find if you set the firewall to there dimenions the hyde mount fits perfect for you motor and the correct distance for your spinner.
As for pics I have left my 2x2 at a freinds place will take some pics then on the weekend and post them.
I have built 3 2x2s for me and a freind they all have the same set up and are great. they are all set the same as bogans.
cheers
