Default Dietrich Preformance Aircraft Extra 42% 260 / 39%300LP

I have been modeling since the early 60's. I have always built my aerobatic planes from a kit and build for other individuals as well. When we un-boxed our 42% Extra 260 and 39% Extra 300LP from Dietrich I was at a loss for words at the design and craftsman ship from the first peice unwraped. Not to mention the efforts from the owner Kevin Dietrich himself to answer any questions and listen to concerns of ours. Anyway I flew a 38% C/A Extra300L last year(my first arc ever) well needless to say I was not as impressed as I am with the Dietrich model. Now for the best part after a few days the plane was ready for it's maiden voyage. I know everyone has those first flight gitters even though we have done it a hundred times. After one more check of everything I was ready, and WOW no sooner than the plane was airborn it was a 4 point roll on takeoff, this plane felt like I had flown it for years it was just that comfurtable of a feeling at 50 yards down the runway. I am here to say that if you get a chance to fly one or are considering a new plane that either one of these planes are top choice, I can't say enough about Kevin and his products you really need to get the expeirence for yourself. Buy the way both planes are setup with the harware that comes with the plane(except for the prolink pushrods and central hobbies carbon on the rudder) all JR 8611a's and JR 8711 servos, JR 955 rec, Power box 40/24-12 , and Duralite Plus batteries. The power from the 3W-157ss engines is more than enough power for anything you desire to fly wether it be IMAC, freestyle, or a Sunday flying machine. If no one has said this to you from Dietrich yet, Thank You. Kevin and staff go to a great amount of time to get those planes where they are that good out of the box and in the air. Every plane that is built by Dietrich performance go's through a lot of research and development time before it is released, the 75cc 260 had gotten set back because just after it went in to production there was something found that worked well and needed to be Incorporated in the plane. So they stopped the line and made all the changes then started back up which mad for a short delay but once it was here it was another winner. Kevin and staff have a few more things on the R&D tables now and they should not disappoint once they are in production (I'd tell ya but I'd have to kill ya, LOL).

Thanks for the testimonial and I know there are many choices out there, Dietrich strives to be one of the tops.

I have to agree with you! Dietrich (Kevin) has given me nothing but outstandind service... Been flying his Extra 260 with MT-57 for most of the summer now. And I've been more than happy with this airplane and motor combo. I damaged the right wing when a old pipe in my garage fell on it, I called Kevin and had a new wing within a week. The guy gives great service. I will be in the market for another 35-40%er this winter and his company will be first on my list.
