Where do you get the XTi for a good price? I've been trying to order the EOS Digital Rebel XTi from XpressCameras.com since Christmas, but I always get an email back saying they are out of stock, and they never send me an email telling me when it's back. Their price for the camera body is $520.00 and change.

I didn't do that good. I think a lot of those places "sell" cameras based on overstock product. If the manuf has stock that retailers don't buy they will sell it to these warehouse retailers on the east coast. At least thats the story that I got a couple of years ago when I tried to buy a video camera.
A place that you can check is www.buydig.com My dad has bought two cameras and a camcorder through them without any problems, but as with all online vendors buy at your own risk. |

Be EXTREMELY wary of camera shops with no actual storefront. There are a ton of scams and many sell foreign products that appear similar but carry no warranty. I was going to purchase from one and googled the company name first. GOOD THING I DID! Apparently they sell people empty shells, foreign run cameras (made for other countries), equipment that was used broken or missing all the accessories etc.
