New 3W 85i numbers and pics
Just received word from Cactus Aviation and 3W that the 3w 85 turned some impressive numbers right out of the box.
The new 85 is using the same hub and diameter crank as the big dog 150-170 engines. The reported numbers were 6,200 rpm on a 3w 28x10 prop running a PeFa can. This was the stock version single spark. Dimensions are the same as the 3w 80. Power: 10hp Bore: 51mm Stroke: 49mm Props 2 bld: 27x10,12 28x10 3 bld. 26x11, 27x11 Garrett Morrison |

It's going to beet the crap out of a 1000 loonies.. ($895 US) for the competition version.. after reading the numbers on it, I think the standard version would have been lots.. I have mine slated for a H9 Sukhoi.. and later a AW Extra 260. All the best.. Riverdancer |
