Wings over Wayne Airshow

In case ya'll didn't here about it, the Blue Angels are taking to the sky at the Wings Over Wayne airshow for their first airshow since Lt. Cmdr. Davis died in South Carolina. The Airshow will be at Seymour Johnson AFB, Goldsboro, NC. Performers also include: Patty Wagstaff, an RC F-15E demo,a 4'th Fighter Wing F-15E demo, F22 demo, the Red Baron Pizza Squadron, the U.S. Army Golden Knights, and many more performances. the Show begins at 9:00AM and concludes with the Blue Angels flight at 3:00PM. If you're coming, be sure to get here early.

BTW, I'll try to get some vid. Probably won't get the Blue Angels though as I'll be busy.(might get someone else to tape it) I've never edited vid before, but I'll post it if I figure it out in time.

editing a video is VERY easy, you can use windows movie maker. or if you want you can send me the video files when your done and I can edit it for you.

Well, as you already know, yesterday at Seymour Johnson AFB, the Blue Angels took to the sky for their first airshow since the tragedy on April 21'st when Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Davis died during an airshow in South Carolina. Instead of the usual six man formations, the Blue Angels used a five man formation as Lt. Cmdr. Craig Olsen( who replaced Lt. Cmdr Davis) hasn't had enough practice in the formations yet. Unfortunately I had prior obligations and was unable to record the flights, but they put on a great show. Fat Albert kicked the their portion of the show off with the JATO C-130 takeoff, then the Blue Angels tore up the sky like they had something to prove. If you can find a video of the performance, it sure is worth watching.


Also appearing today were the Army's Golden Knights, Patty Wagstaff, the Red Baron Pizza Squadron, as well as an F-15E demonstration flight from the 4'th Fighter Wing, an F-22 Raptor demonstration, an F-117 Nighthawk, F-86, the Flying Farmer, the AFR Jet car, C-17 Globemaster, USAF heritage flight, and a Pearl Harbor reinactment.(as well as various other warbirds)

Sure was! Unfortunately, I was running from my room to get a good view, but only got the last pass on video. Too bad they didn't demo the F-35. Would have been pretty darn sweet as well.

Thanks for putting some of those pictures up of the airshow. I actually flew that B-52 in for the show. We are still here though cause we have a generator broken. My parents live in Fayetteville so I have been flying all week with my dad! Actually worked out pretty good for me. It was a great show!

That F-35 was pretty cool but It wasnt real I was a wooden mockup.
