Default 3D_Kid Bought a Blade CP Pro!

I couldn't resist, a friend let me try his, and it was fun and amazing, so just today, I bought one as well; I also bought flat-bottomed blades to make it a little more easier for learning. Might post pics later. Thanks, Ken.

Carefull running the flat bottom blades on the stock motor and lipo. You will want to change out to a 8tooth motor.

Ok, first flight went ok, It was a new experience for sure. I hit a couple of times, and I already need the big gear at the bottom. The gear is really wobbly because it is plastic, and since its wobbly, then the blades are out of track as well. I wander if anyone makes a replacement gear that is metal? Thanks.

Here's some pics, the second one shows the gear, this gear wobbles alot while its rotating fast, making the blades wobble, and hard to fly. Any suggestions? I don't want to buy another cheap plastic one either, is there an aftermarket metal one? Thanks, Ken.

When you say you had a couple hits do you mean it crashed? That main gear does not look right at all. I think you may have a bent main shaft.

The gear is fine, but the gear wobbles like crazy. Do you think I should get te Microheli Co. replacement gear and shaft? There stronger big time.

Just flew again, I found a new method of flying the sticks, All my life I've been using my thumbs to control my models, but now for helis, I have discovered the "pinching" the sticks method. I seem to be more accurate this way. I also added a set of flybar weights (wheel collars lol) against the paddle bars, and as a result, it is easier to fly. Thank, Ken.

The charger that is included with the blade has really short leads (like 5"), so I made the charge leads longer, and it has worked great!

OK, I flew it some more, and it is so fun and amazing! The not so amazing part was when I turned the transmitter off first, and it revved up and the blades hit the concrete. The flat-bottomed blades are now ruined because of this mishap; now I'm putting on the symmetrical blades. Thanks, Ken.

I went from a CP Pro to a TREX 450. Much happier now. The CP Pro is a lot of fun, but I just suck with it.

Dangit! Stupid concrete ruined my symmetrical blades too (diff reason this time, WIND) now, I'm bladeless. I really hope I don't have to spend a crap load of money on more blades.
