Great choice!!
I had a DA50 in mine and it did a great job. Wish I could have afforded to keep mine as a back-up and still get my 40%. Very sweet plane to fly. |

well the maiden went great. what a great flying plane.. Nothing much realy hapened took about 8 flights.I want to get the DA 50 broken in before I try and do anything.
I had to move the CG alittle foward for now untill I get used to it I have it about 3-3 1/8 and I also made the elevator throws on low rate 10% instead of 12% |

I have very few pics of mine, but i do have many gallons on it and in my experience, its one of the best 50cc arfs out there. Build it lite and sub 16# is totally doable. Total 3d dream plus i have been flying it in the low classes at IMAC contests and it is a very capable precision tool.

If your looking for an affordable motor with some power the TOC 53 that Tom sells in my opinion would be a good choice.

The new Extra from WH is a SUPER bird, really enjoy mine! She came in at 1 1/4lbs with a MVVS 45, single 4 cell Li-ion pack, and single Smart-Fly reg.
I also am flying one of the TOC 3mm 53cc engines Tom is importing and it is a good choice as well, especially with the $430 total price tag including muffler. |
