Default Fromeco Reg's...mounting question.

Guys, I am rigging my plane and have 3 regs to mount. I can easily mount them to the inside of the airframe. Do you cushion them with foam or just screw em' to em'? Thanks.

I used Servo grommets and screwed them into the grommets....
the grommets acted like a cushion... I'll see if I can get a picture

Put some foam under them or, use some fuel tubing under the screw head and under the regulator mount. The regulators don't (shouldn't) get hot.

I just worried about shaking the guts out of them over time.

I put nitro fuel tubing in the screws, but i also put a strip of foam under neath the regulator and then i thighten the screws. I thighten the screw enough that the regulator is pressed down to the foam.

I use fuel tubing between the board and the wood, and use foam under the heat sink part of the reg to support it and keep it from shaking. Small enough so that you can not see it when looking at the reg, and thick enough so that the reg pushed down on it slightly. (This is one of the ways Fromeco tells you to mount it)
