Works great with the tuned pipe and a Mejzlik 18-6. Its junk with the pitts muffler. What kind of flying are you going to do with it?

I agree, I have one and it's a great engine. I wouldn't say it's junk with a Pitts, it depends on what you are doing with it. I have one in a 1/4 scale Supercub with the Pitts, and it's great. It'd suck on an aerobat with the pitts, though.

Keep it light if you want good performance. Put the engine on a tuned pipe, and watch the weight everywhere.

That engine is not going to 3-d very well on that plane. You need to keep the AUW down to 11-11.5lbs or less. I dont think the DP Extra can be built that light with that engine. My .02

The Ultra RC Giles 202 is a good match for that engine.

That's because you were running it on a pitts. Put it on a pipe and it's a different engine.
