Default Mising Ailerons to Elevators

Hey guys .. I'm in the middle of building a stupidly manuverable funfly, and I want to go with independently moveable elevators that are mixed to the Ailerons for a higher roll rate. I also want to be able to use the flaperon function slaved to the elevators, moving both the same direction as the elevators, AND the opposite direction.. The transmitter is a 10X. There will be one servo per aileron, one per stab, one on rudder and throttle.

Anyone ever done this mixing setup? Any pointers would be appreciated.

All you have to do, is run the flaperon mix for the ailerons, slave one elevator half to the other, and then slave each elevator half to the ailerons. Use Code 51, 52, and 53. That's the first 3 programmable mixes.

First off, you need to inhibit the switches, sliders, and knobs you won't use. That's function 17. That way, you won't hit one of the sliders or something, and have one of your elevators go nuts.

Next, Use code 51 to slave one of your aux channels to the elevator. That would be Ch3 to CH7. Then hit Enter. After you get your rate and direction setup, hit the Page button twice. Then, hit Sel. below where it says Trim Off. Once it says Trim On, you've just set it so that both elevator halves trim together.

Other than that, just use Code 52 and 53 to slave each elevator half to one of the ailerons. Hit the Page button once, and you can set the mix up so that you can turn it off and on. Hit it twice to get to the trim on or off page.

Well, Jack, that's one thing, but then you have to worry about making the the ailerons either follow the elevators (same direction) or oppose them. . two different mixes and switch positions. . .

This is probably where you get into flight modes. One flight mode moves the ailerons with the elevators, another moves them opposite, and in both you have it set up where the elevators are slaved to the aileron channel.
