I've got the 33% Extra with a ZDZ 80. If I were you, I'd get the new 260 with a 100cc engine or bigger.

based on sport flying and hucking then possibly IMAC

then go with a edge, its a nice balence but leans to the 3d side, (straight leading edge allows you to get slower in harriers etc do to a really slow stall speed and the entire wing stalling at the same time.

Caps lean heavily to the 3D side(high elevator makes them harrier nice but roll like poop) and

Extras lean to the imac side and fly verry true

im not tottaly sure about getting an 33% this instant, but im just looking JUST incase because the 35%er's are too big to fit in my vehicle. and a 33% is more economical for my flying field. but we wills ee eventually.

Depends on your intentions....for IMAC get the Extra 330 ( newer version because its lighter ) or for 3D, get the Edge. I have the edge and flew an IMAC contest with it. It was ok...better for 3D though ( that also come from a few of the Horizon reps ).

I'd take the 35% Extra 260 every day of the week and twice on Sundays. You can remove the rudder on the 35% Extra, so it might fit in your vehicle easier than the 33% planes.

I don't pivot towards a planes anymore based on video clips. Any golfer can make a crappy set of clubs look good, and it is no different with flying skills. Don't get me wrong. I like Mike's designs, and he designed a winner with the Edge. I hope it stays in production for a long time. I think it is best to see the thing fly in person to really assess a model. Just my nickel.
Oh man..I'm ripping myself off

Honestly, I wasn't overly impressed with the Edge and prefer the other H9 33%'s I've owned and/or flown. I ended up selling mine after a few months. There's nothing wrong with it, I just found it sedate and boring. Even with great power to weight, it just felt lazy and very imprecise. It would, however, make an excellent first giant scale/gasser and I would highly recommend it for that purpose. Again, I'm not bashing the plane by any means, I just found its flight characteristics to be mediocre. If you just want to hover all day, then by all means... But if you want a good mixture of precision and 3D with a bit more spunk and energy, look elsewhere, IMO.

ZDZ 80rv, Vess 26a, JR 8611a on rudder, Futaba 9206 on everything else, H9 pro-links, Troy Built 2400 Li-ions regulated at 6 volts.
Also, I have had the Cap and the Edge, and I really prefer the Edge. To me the Cap was the harrier king but it doesn't roll as clean (kind of like a barrel) and would do some wierd stuff when you really crank on the rudder. Also the Edge came out about 2.5 lbs lighter with the same gear and flys bigger than it really is.

The 330S is by far the best looking plane( very nice flier )
But the edge is the best flier by far.
Both need a DA100 /3W106
I think the new 260 will come out tops though
