I used a 22X8 Bolly for run in but have since switched to a Mejzlik 23X8.

YEP 23 - 8 Bolly, Mejzlik, NX, CHP, all work well.

MSC 22-8 for break in then either stick with that or goto a NX 23-8..

Did you notice very much difference when going from a 22x8 wood prop to the Mejzlik 23x8?

I like the MSC 23X8 on my DA-50. I broke it in on 23X8 Bolly, just think the MSC fly's the plane better.

Iwas going to try the MSC 23-8 but it seemed like it would really load the engine down..what kind of R's are you getting? I was getting about 7200 with the MSC 22-8

I was running a 24X8 Menz on mine after break-in. It would rip that prop in level flight and really smoothed the mid range up for the hovering. The 23X8 MSC should do the same as it is a wider blade prop.

Listen to me...22X8 Bolly wood. Period. Use Lawn Boy AShless oil 32:1 Period. # to 4 gallons of gas. Make sure your ingition wires are away from muffler. You will have an engine that will last for years... After 3 tpo 4 gallons of that go to either mobile 50:1 or Amsoil 100:1 period. |

I thought the 23 -8 Bolly was better then the 22-8 bolly. Now there is no more bolly wood. XOAR is the company that was making the bolly wood props. Now they are sold under there own name. They are also making them for another company, can't remember who it was.
