Default 6S1P 4000mah charger question

Hey guys,

I pulled a dumb one today. Before I ordered my new 6S1P 4000 mah packs....I didn't check my charger to be sure I could charge them. As fate would have it....the triton only does up to 5 cell packs. "Per literature online". Question is.....what charger would you recommend to charge such large 6 cell packs? Also....if it has multiple charge ports...that's even better.

Thanks,

Neo

I knew that was coming....especially when I gave you such a hard time when you did the exact same thing.

that or the TP-1010C charger. I have two of the 1010's, and will likely be getting one of those Hyperions, too. I don't know of anything else cheaper, but that's not to say you won't find one...
BTW, I have a brand new one for sale on Eb ay. Look up 1010C

I use the astro flight and the older hyperion. my older hyperion only charged up to 5 cells and I did the exact same thing as you. so I picked up the astro flight. charges up to 9 cells and 8 amps. $115

Has anyone ever used or see this charger? Uses AC and DC.....and can balance your packs.

Thoughts?

The most important thing to know is what balance connector is on the packs?

what brand packs are they?

I've been using a FMA BalancePro HD 6s 10A LiPo Charger and love it.
It charges my 6S TP 5000mAh batteries in 35-40 min. with over 100 cycles now.

This is all I use. I absolutely love this charger!! You don't have to worry about puffing the packs during the charge as it taps into each cell. It is probably the safest, most efficient charger on the market and at a great cost to boot!

Nice charger, but it's pretty limited. I read a review of it somewhere that said that it's only capable of going up to 2.5amps on a 6s pack.

says it right on that page up to 5 amps for 6s packs. I ended up purchasing that charger and have been very happy with it except for one thing. There is no fan in the unit and it gets rather hot. Other than that it has been a great charger.

I know what it says, I was passing on what I read when I was researching chargers, and I had come across things that said that it was up to 6s or up to 5a. Good to hear that is not the case, perhaps they changed something since the review I read was written.
