a few of us have them coming...should be in the next few weeks. when i ordered mine bill said don't even ask to see a preview of the scheme <G>. if it's like my edge it''ll be nice. that's all i know, maybe "planebender" has some additional info ?

Hello Everyone, I am getting a little frustrated but, I got real answers today. Here are some pictures too for your viewing pleasure. The planes should ship next week. The picture that I am sending you were from a couple of days ago (so they say). I am told that all planes will be completed this week and be prepped for shipping next week. sorry vic...the pics sent in the e-mail weren't of the new 260's , they were of the edges. i can't get them to save so i can post them. they were pics of the girls covering the planes

does anyone know how to attach or include pics sent in an e-mail to the forums? bill sent some pics of the new 50% 260 but they can't be saved as jpg's on my computer ( or at least i can't figure it out) or...if i was to send the e-mail to someone maybe they can attach them?

Hey guys!
The new 50% Extra 260 prototypes are on their way! I have a new container of Edge's and Extra 260 planes coming and there are 2 Extra 260's left that are not sold yet. If you are intersted in getting one of the first ones avialable here is your chance. I only ordered a few of these 260's just to make sure the wing wasn't installed backwards or something. After looking at the pictures I am very pleased and confident that these new planes will be awesome! These are built just like the Edge's and have the same strong hollow-core foam/balsa wing with the carbon spars and wing tube. Strength will not be an issue. The new 260 is only avialable right now in this Red/White/Blue scheme but I will have new schemes available in the future. Flying weight should be between 60-63 pounds. Airplane comes complete with hardware package and a pre-drilled firwall set up for the 3W-275. Send me an email if you want one! Bill Hempel teamedge@billhempel.com |
