Well, if this is true, imagine it in a 157, Extra 260

157 on cans might just give you the powerful, quiet operation you are looking for. 170 on cans would be ballistic.

yeah! And the 170 is the same block as the 157 - same weight, as well, just bigger, um, muscles. A friend in Dallas put a 170 on his Compy 260 and reported stupid power on standard muffs. I have my heart set on one with a twin-spark in a CS version - not due out until the years end. Seema like I heard that somewhere else. Maybe it's a race. With a standard 3W 150 on muffs my 260 had power to spare, though, so maybe a lighter set-up would yield better results - not certain, though, just a thought. More and more with recent experience I'm placing larger value on customer service. I am eager to hear about the release of DA's 170 to compare weight and performance.

Frazer Briggs just won the Bendigo Masters here in Australia with my 260, DA150 BMB Cans! He also used a stock DA150 with std mufflers to come 4th at the Tucson Shootout on his 3.2m PBG 260. So a DA150 on cans MTW or BMB or whatever will have more than enough power for anything you wish to throw at it. Making a missile as you stated will not neceserally make it a better IMAC model (which was your intitial intention). As for engines!! DA150 3W157!! DA all the way, quality service and back up by the best people in the business, and it's made in the USA.

Well right now I have an awsome deal with some mtw cans and headers. Should I take it or buy some pipes. I do want more power but if the 260 can do good snaps verticle with the mtw then I will take them. Do the bmb's give you more power. So do I take the deal or not???
