Default Spectrum Help

I bought my Spectrum yesturday and have started to program it. I am having trouble with airleron setup with my foamie. I don't want to have to use a y harness but will if I have to. I have tried plugging it into both AUX 2 and AUX1 or the flap channel. Do you guys have any ideas.

Is it the DX6 or DX7? You can use aileron and flap and make a flaperon mix that will slave them together. This mix can either be found in wing type (in the model menu, hold the bottom left buttons down and turn on the transmitter, then scroll through the settings) or in the regular programming as flaperon. I believe that you can then just activate this mix, and maybe change a few percentages or reverse one channel to get them to work together.
