Hey Andreas
Check this....Its a 43% Edge 540 at 40LBS with a DA 150 powering it.
Oh man mine's gonna be sweet at 38LBS with a 150......maybe DZY what u think. I knew that a 150 would fly this plane well....

Thats a good Idea Trevor, tell me when the jet leaves CT so I can head to the airport...

Do you think a 100cc will be good power for the 35% Yak, this thing is huge. It will probably weigh about 30lb's

Very good video,
These PAU models are the same as the ones I import, so expect the same sort of performance from the 100cc Yak. I'm just wondering if the 100cc will be good power, the engine looks sooooo small on that Plane.

Tiaan

Are you looking for a CNC cutter to get the wood cut or are you looking for a foam cutter?

Will do .....LOL

Well Andreas the standard 35% engine is 100cc twin so it will be fine. I am looking forward to flying that Yak but are you sure about the weight though 30LBS seems a bit heavy to me. I remember you telling me that Frank is putting it together I think ??? if so is it done ?????? my best advise to keep this plane light and make a good performance impression is to go to the minimum on battery requirements ie work out how much current each servo draws per min then times that by the number of servos and the again by 25min for flight time even though you only fly for 15min. I always then use just enough battery power for 4 flights and then charge after 2 flights. If you are gonna put NICADS or NIMHD batts in I would rather say go lipo on everything exept ign if you need regulators to do this we can organize something. BUT LETS MAKE THE PLANE LIGHT. and it will be awsome. I have flown a 35% Edge at 2800ft with a DA 100 and it was cool to say the least. But it was very light !!!!!

So is the Yak also a PAU ( I know the extra is ). I cant wait . Yip a 100cc twin is a small motor in cm size on a big plane .
