Yep, I am busy fixing the 27% at the moment. I also got a carbon fibre landing gear from Peter so I can fix the 33% as well. I am missing that plane.

I like your receiver system weatronic is great. I've got one in my plane, so does Damien.

When I was in Germany two weeks ago I visited them in Stuttgart and we talked about some of the new things coming out soon.

Hush Hush, we they will go to 2.4, but its a different module in the receiver and the transmitter.

There are big problems with the current 2.4 implementation in Europe. The JR/Spektrum implementation does not conform to CE limits, so none of those radios are to be legaly sold there.

By 2008 a new 2.4 spec will have to be implemented by any product wanting to be sold on the band. This spec defines that a sender and transmitter stay in contact (bi-directional) to find a constant free spot, also freq. hopping and some other things need to be implemented.

I'm not sure how far they are with it, but with the rest of the market doing so much on the 2.4 front they will have to hurry.

I don't like the current JR/Sprektrum system. Two fixed frequencies and ground clearance problems, well I'll let others crash their planes with the current range of 2.4 systems.

Futaba's is supposed to be better, but to expensive here in SA

Trev

Jup its that old Yak you saw in my garage. I had a Pitts style muffler on the engine and it was insane. Now I just have to finish the mounting for the MVVS muffler and then the fun can begin again.

But this weekend I'm hoping Damien will maiden my new CA-Model Extra 330L 33% with a MVVS 116 in it. Had to go for small mufflers here because the standard MVVS were to big.

Later
