Hey jason. Had a few flights this morning. Was a bit windy but not too bad. Packed us early to get some slope time in but wind dropped to nothing. That mvvs 116 is awesome. Will be good to see Peter's and Damien's CA extras together.

That new ignition on the mvvs is sweet, the idle was super low for a new engine.

Hey bluesmancoops
I used to fly next to the silverglades feild at the club but they have banned petrol now so we can only fly electric so now i belong to PRF at zeekoe vlei I also fly at a open feild in kommetjie near soetwater, theres no houses or anything around and the odd picnic'ers enjoy it too |

Probably good that i packed up early. Had 2 days worth of glow slime to clean off the extra. Not too often i get to fly it 2 days in a row. That moki is a bit of a messy beast. Was really happy with the way its was going today.

Hey Jason, I flew my electric yak54. Havn't fixed my other planes yet. I may do some work on them this week. Have you fixed the edge?
Gus, your motor was definitely ripping that prop nicely.

That sand really sucks, it gets in everywhere.
I think the mini katana is a slightly better plane overall. The yak is bigger and it rolls really well but its not quite as stable as the katana in 3d.

jason what prop are you looking for. I might be able to help.
On the Katana Mini. I have to agree with Damien. The Yak is nice gut the Katana is more stable and somehow it looks bigger in the sky, and for only R900 its a good price too. Peter |

Hi Guys,
Told you I will post some pic's of the joining of two GF45I motors to make it a 180cc twin. This is how far we have it right now. The pic's show how the front of one crankkase is mashiened to fit the back of another. Then I have added pics of the acctual cranks and how they will fit together, I hope it holds. The shaft is turned down from 15mm to 11mm to fit the back if the first crank. till allot to be done, but It should run (maybe on Wednesday) Enjoy regards Andreas |
