Hey Henk,

I know the feeling: these ever changing ground conditions around the field. We have them here to in Nam... the ground is rising for some strange reason, must be global warming or something????
Oh, you wife is quite right, 1X Stick = 1X New kitchen....Hehehe..

well my weekend went Ok I didn't fly any of my planes.
We maidened a buds jet yesterday and it went fine but boy what a difficult plane to set up . On the first take off I could feel that it was sucking to the ground a bit but still got off ok . same on the second take off so with the plane nicely trimmed out I decided to use full power on the take off .........OMG the jet just wouldn't leave the ground and then at the end of the runnway and I meen last 30cm I gave a frantic pull and it popped up straight into a 90 deg vertical ( scarry ssshhiit ) anyways I got it all happy and had a good flight did about 5 consecutive touch and goes its a BOBCAT so it sits in a awsome nose up on finals really looks great. After the first take off I checked the ground attitude and it was fine. After the scarry take off I just mixed in a bit of down ailerons to assist the flap and it worked she took off in less than half the runnway.

Lol @ Henk! Ive hit a guinefowl with my car before, it broke my grill and cracked my headlight. I never liked them much after that. They dont seem to be scared of much, dumb birds.

Trev, I was flying my electric yak. That bobcat sounds sweet.

Hi Trev
Just some pictures of my ARF COMP Flash, Jetcat P120, along with some other jets that were at the field.
The Flash was clocked at 334kph.

Hey John O
Im sure you know the trim aircraft spectre very well . There's a guy here in SA you took the spectre fuz and put a slightly bigger wing on it with a different airofoil and called it a Doninator. Here produces them in Joburg and I fly one of those will send you a pic if I have one.

Awsome jets wow .......A buddy of mine wrote off his Comp Eurosport two a week ago just after take off he lost range for some reason. It was a mess...

I had a ducted fan Spectre some years ago, good little jet lots of fun. The Dominator sounds like it would be better to fly, the wing on the Spectre is very small.
Sorry to here about the Eurosport ,not a good feeling when they go in.
I'v got a 50% Bill Hempel Edge 540 comming, got the wings today so the rest of it should be here soon. I am going to put an EVO300 4 cylinder in it, should be fun to fly.
A picture of the motor and model.
See ya

Good camera work, very strong motor, or very light person.

Jason. I'll check on the 16x6 wood.

For the Katana I suggest using a Hacker A30 and a Hacker X30 ESC on 11.2 V Lipo
