A funfly would be cool. Finding a central spot could be tricky since we are so spread out but its not impossible. Did you have a venue in mind?

Steven, Kind of like Oudtshoorn, but without the circle flying
( No offence to warbird and cub pilots)

I just got an email now, there is an open day at PRF (zeekovlei) on Sunday the 17Th of June and anyone is welcome to come fly. Its the official 'runway wetting'.

hope the weathers good for it.
Need to see if a place like Beafort west could work for a fun fly. pretty central, well a bit closer to cpt than jnb, and dont think the municipal airport gets too busy.
Would be killer at a place like verneek pan. FAR way from anything.

Beafort west may be a good option, I suppose anywhere between there and Bloemfontein is more or less central.
A flat pan would be awesome, nothing to crash into and plenty of space to land.

Hi Henk
I'v got a long wheel base Toyota Hiace commuter bus, and have taken all the seats out, it will just fit in spinner and all. ( I hope )

The Hiace would not last long here. would get hi-jacked or ripped off VERY quickly, to provide parts for our "highly efficient mini bus taxi operators". "TAXI VIOLENCE"
The 50% edge is sweet, cant wait to see Hempels's new 50% 260.
That 300evo looks like a demon, must sound awesome.
