saw some pics in a 3D flyer mag a few years back, had a 3.3m Yak55sp Composite ARF of Chip Hyde that also had a DA 200 in it. ( Think it was Don Low Masters 2004 or 2005? ) basicly 2 100cc put together, looked awesome.
We need to get some of those Daltons here in sa.

Hey Andreas A buddy of mine is flying the 45cc gas motor but his ing unit keeps poping. He has had one go on 6v and 4.8v. Its the green box type. Why don't they use the RC EXEL ingnition unit ??? isn't it much better. Do you have any ing units in stock and if you do what do they cost. Incase he has no joy from the store he bought it from. Thanks

Hi Trevor,
My 45 is also acting up, it’s the ignition unit. The unit itself is actually good, it seams to be the pickup that’s no good it seams. I tested my Ignition to 12000RPM yesterday and it went flawless, but the pickup is c$%^&p. don’t go with 4.8V its to week, go 6V its much better than.

I have RCexel Ignitions underway, there is nothing better on the marker at the moment. They should be here in 14 day's or so.
Let me know how many you need.
We have one GF45 running with it, you wont believe the smooth Idle and easy starting.
Regards
Andreas

Borries,

Hi All
Managed to take some photoes of the Hempel edge that I got today,
It's raining now so didn't get to set up outside with the wings on.
One picture is the wing tube along side my 40% extra 260, and there is one of the box standing on it's end.

Guys I just received my Graupner catalog and price lists. You guys should have seen Damien when I handed him the catalog. The thing weights in at 3.9 kg.

They have lots of nice things in there, and hence the Graupner stuff will now be available in SA.

I'll make a selection of the stuff that I'll keep in stock, just like I did for Multiplex, and the rest will be items that I'll order when the need arrises.
