I'm still part of the old school, I really enjoy building scratch but sometimes it's a real PITA, but the agian nothing flies as good as your own hard work!! The motor that you saw is a 3W 28cc sitting on the test stand, still thinking of where I want to install the motor.
Actually this is the second time around that I'm doing this particular colour scheme, the first one was about 4 years ago also on a 28% Midwest CAP of mine, at that time the scheme was originally on Peter Goldsmith (ex pat Aussie) own design 40% CAP while he was competing at the then 2003 TOC in Las Vegas. Im glad you guys like it. |

1350 pages, we better move our butts then.....
One has to remember that this a South African thread, so a thousand or so pages have probably been stolen allready, so keeping that in mind, you Aussies should give us a break and show some cosideration. Please......LOL |

Trevor,
Are you getting more top end out the 65 with the Can? Oh, and yes, the Extra is the one with the Carbon and Bags, it's one very nice ARF. I know the dealer that you are talking about, and I have heard this. About your choke closing, I had it hapen to me on my KMP Yak on sunday in the air, Snapped it very hard, tryed to open the Throttle and nothing.......O-oh had to land it down wind, almost pooped my broekkie. All went well though. Just in case you are wondering, the 90cc is not running as it should, It starts god, and low and midrange are fine, but setting those two carbs is an absoulute pain.....We got 6200RPM on a 24X8 Menz S Wednesday, thats less than my 65cc. Timing is way of, only about 10 degrees BTDC so that will make a huge diff. once that is sorted and then the one large carb is on its way........Hoping that will make things better. As it is now, you never get both Cyliders the same, one is either rich or lean. Very difficult to find out witch is witch. We will win it though. regards Andreas |

3D-Boogy, I've got two suggestions for your 28cc engine.
Epsilon 120 or an Extra 24% http://www.cerebus.co.za/ca/Epsilon/epsilon120.htm http://www.cerebus.co.za/ca/Extra24/Extra24.htm Peter |

Hey Peter,
have you got any of the 24% Extras in stock? I would be in the market for one, it's not on the Pricelist that you sent me. I want the kit, would like to build something for a change. Do you think that it could be built under 4,5kg for a 180 fourstroke glow. The motor weighs 1040g thanks regards Andreas |
