What is the max number of servos per channel can you put on a rx. It's a jr r790 rx, and ds821 servos.

It just kind of depends. What batteries are you planning on using. And what the draw current is on the servos. There are many factors that so into deciding this. But what plane are you putting this in.

You could probably do something like this. Take the aileron servos on one side of the plane and use a Y to connect them. And plug them into either the AILERON channel. Then take to other side Y them together then plug them into the AUX1 or AUX2 channels depending on the type of reciever.
Or you can try it this way if the other doesn't work. Take the top wing servos and Y them together and plug those into the AILERON channel or the AUX1 or AUX2 channel. Do the same with the bottom set of servos but plug them into one of the channel that you didn't use. This should work. What kind of batteries are you using NIMH or are you using LIPO'S. In this case lipo's would be better. I have 2 with a regulator if you are interested. |

Thanks, but that's the way I have them set up now, and don't like it. I have the NIMH, I also use them to balance the plane, I need to look into a matchbox, or just live with the split channels.

The thing that I've learned from a bipeplane from someone at the field is that you need to keep them light as possible. Although matchboxes don't hardly weigh anything you want to use as little as possible. Trust me this guy knows what he's talking about.

I'm at 15lbs 9 oz. I've read where guys were up to 18lbs with these things, it fly's pretty good on the Saito 180, i guess a gasser would add the weight.

Actually the guy that I know flew his first one with an OS 160. He thought it flew pretty well but something happend and it crashed. So the second one he bought flew with an Evolution 45 with much better results. I can understand that there is very little weight in a matchbox but that still can affect the CG. Let me get in touch with the Bipeplane master and I will talk to him about his prefered setup.
