Default Operation Yak-Tang

Once upon a time, there was a man with a supersized dream ..................... (dad)!!

Anyway, we got our hands on a scruffy old plan for a morris mustang profile.
We soon discovered that our little red ford fiesta was no match for the mustang, without a saw!!!!

So, back to the drawing board with our 3 heads (mine dads and grandads), we came up with a supersized solution. Words will not describe what followed...

It flew just as well as it looked!!!

After much stick from the club (including us!!), we retired it into the loft.

We considered giving it away to a local club raffle, but even we're not that cruel!

Now many years passed, and dads now green
- not that green!!! He likes to try and recycle everything.

So 3 weeks ago, Operation Yak-Tang commenced.

We reused the wings as there built using a wingtube, and its a big job out of the way.

I designed a Yak profile (fuz, tail and stabs) then we built it together.

Heres where we're at.

And heres my colour scheme

I'll keep you updated on the maiden,

Thanks
