Got one of these birds on the way, and am debating what to power it with. Ideally I would like to go with a 80-85, for weight, cost, etc. but am wondering how it will balance. Don't want to put dead weight in it, so the 100cc motor would be a better option if the 80 size motors are not enough weight up-front. Anyone have this plane, or the 2.6 260 ? How did it balance with what size motor ?
Thanks |

I've had two 2.6 Patty's (you can figure out why I have the second one) both with da 100 on the nose and both come out tail heavy not by a lot but back of the mark. So my suggestion would be at least a da 100.

Where did you have the tray on it ? The stock location, or did you try moving it up as far as possible, underneath the wing tube ?
Thanks |
