Default 3W85 on a 75cc Yak

Hey Guys- Was thinking about the 3W85 from Aircraft International for my new AW 75cc Yak, I know a lot of guys are waiting on the DA but aside from that how do you think the 3W85 would preform on the AW Yak? I seen the ZDZ Super 80 on a friend of mine this past weekend at out local field and it was great, but was just wondering about the 3W. Thanks in advance.

Hi Greg, Jack here! Personally I think it would be an awesome combo!! 3W is just as good as quality as the DA. The service is also just 'about' as good. (DA service is hard to beat) But anyways heck, I say if ya dont want to wait for the DA then go for it, you wont regret it!! And the power to weight ratio would be real nice. Take care, ~~Jack~~

I'm in the same boat as you, I have a H9 33% cap ready to fly less motor. I have been on the DA list for the 85 but thinking about going 3W since they are shipping. I'd like to try a 85CS for a few more bucks.

From what I have gathered about the 3W 85, it didn't gain much, if any weight over their 75. It is just more powerful. I say go for it!
