Well, I remade the left bracket and I now have about 2 degrees of right thrust.
Further adjustments will be made during the test flights. NOW, I can get on with the rest of the build...hmmmm.... what shall I do next ? Last edited by Fishdeth; 06-14-2007 at 08:20 PM. |

Cut a throttle servo opening in the fuse at the suggested location, dug a channel in the foam core from there to the reciever bay and pulled a string through to feed the throttle servo lead over the wing tube and into reciever compartment.

Mounted the servo and started to figure out the throttle linkage.
But first, I had to turn the carb over 180 degrees and then do the came with the carb throttle arm. Cut the Sullivan Precision rod and temporarily put it all in place so as to see where I will mount the standoffs that hold the outer tube. |

Piper's AKC papers states that he is 100% Jack Russell. But he's NOT! He's a $1000.00 RAT Terrier. Smartest dog on the planet.

Got the Sullivan Precision rod epoxied in place, throttle is very smooth and linear.
Mounted the ignition module and plugged in the battery and switch and screwed the hatch in place. |

Since the BME is a beam mount, I'm using a Hyde Soft mount. $199.99 for this mount! Geeeeze! And my LHS didn't have Flame Red Ultracoat. Only Bright Yellow, so I had to make some covering changes... I sure hope Golden Eagle Aircraft don't mind! ;-)

Started gluing in the Robarts style hinges using Elmers Yellow Wood glue.
I used a piece of music wire that would fit into the little brass hingepoint to keep allignment and as a depth guage to set all hinges in line. |
